What, right now?

Blogger is so eager to hear my thoughts, I apparently must write one now!

My title, "Ramblings of a teenage nothing", might sound like more than a little bit of a downer, but I'm only thinking about the grand scheme of things. The grand scheme of things is depressing; when comparing myself to all the other teens in the world, I'm sickeningly average. I don't have a job, a boyfriend, or a good outlook on life. I DO have one and half siblings who get on my nerves all the time, a nagging mother and bad grades in high school.

Thinking like this doesn't exactly make me feel better, but it does help to put everything into perspective. Perhaps as time passes I'll get my shit together, buck my ideas up and give myself a good punt up the arse. One can only hope.

With all that stuff out of the way, I suppose I should share some general information. I live in little old New Zealand, the island like country in the south pacific (just in case you're ignorant of world geography), I'm 16 years old (going on 17 in March), I write (not much), and I have an abundance of awesome friends. I like greyhounds, other people's poetry, summer, my electric blanket, and white chocolate.

I don't like most vegetables (including but not limited to, mushrooms, beetroot, leeks, kumara, cauliflower and kidney beans), the sound of a ticking clock and failing when I've really tried.

I suppose that's enough for now. I'm not quite sure why I wrote so much on the first post, since I'll bet not many people at all are going to read this. It doesn't matter, I'll tell myself, and keep writing.

Au revoir :<
