Fairlie: Day 10

We arrived in Fairlie not too long ago. It's a little town only a couple of hours from Christchurch. The park is nice, but not as good as the one in Wanaka, which had a wonderful view. It does have one advantage, though: there is free internet :D It sure does beat paying $2 for every 20 minutes.

Just a litte update on yesterday. After my blog Tori and I spent about 4 hours in the TV room, watching The Amazing Race and C4, and talking to this Aussie guy, my age, named... er... Andy*. It was pretty fun. We kinda just chatted about stuff, including the problems he's having with a girl back in Adelaide. He told me about the year he spent in Wales (and I asked him to say Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (he couldn't). As we were watching Added This Week on C4, he asked me about my phone and then tossed me his. On it was a message. I was surprised, but, of course, nothing happened, partly because Irene came in to tell us to come back to the camper (it was midnight), partly because Tori was there, but also partly because it was a little weird. He was cute, but I just thought it would be a bit... strange.

So, today. Today we drove about three hours, stopping on the way here at a really, really good cafe called Poppies- had the best fries I've ever had in my life there- and at Lake Tekapo. The wind was impossibly freezing. I read lots. I'm about 320 pages through The Stand, now. It is sooooo good (duh).

Tomorrow, we're on our way to Christchurch. I think we board the plane at about 3pm, so we'll be home by around 5. Can't wait XD.

Note: Just remembered the name of a song I heard yesterday, and I remember it being pretty good. Check it out if you want: You Overdid It Doll- The Courteeners. Just for safekeeping ;)

Right. 'bout a hundred messages to answer to on DeviantART, so I'd better go :) xx

* Names have been changed, but I'll bet you guys'll figure it out anyway.
