Hanmer Springs: Day 1

In the Hanmer Springs holiday park right now. Weather is beautiful, everyone mostly happy (though Mum just caught Ellie stealing $2 so she can go to the games room and buy lollies), campervan is wonderful (and huuuuge) and comfy and awesome.

Got up this morning at 5, left by 6. Plane boarded at 6.55 (which we almost missed because Mum misread the ticket...). The plane experience was very smooth; barely any turbulence, and a beautiful view out the windows of the clouds and sunset. It WAS smooth, at least, until we started our descent and becuase of my terrible, horrible, malicious sinuses I got these pains, which felt like a knife was been stabbed through my head, and actually had me gasping for breath. It was.... ugh. I said to Mum: "Jeez, that was worse than childbirth", which made her choke a little bit.

Right. Only 2 minutes lefts (we're on the campsite wi-fi, but we still had to pay $6 for our 60 minutes. Fucking ridiculous.
Speaking of moneys, today I bought a cute little penguin chick plushie, a key chain and a Hogglund postcard- the Hogglund was this Antarctic train/tank-like thing which this guy drove over this awesome course with all these hills and stuf (and it floats!). Mum got an awesome photo of Tori, Ellie, Irene and I standing next to it.

Right-o got to go. Love you guys!
Byebyes :)
