Hanmer Springs: Day 2

Today has been a little bit crazy and a little bit awesome.
Gah, so much. We were up at 8, though it was basically seven cause of stupid daylight savings, and gone by around 10.30, after a breakfast of English muffins, to the Waiau River bungee jump. My sister Tori (15) jumped 35m off a bridge, which is insane cause I could never had done that. By 1.3opmish we were back at the campervan (a 7m, 3.1m high long Maui),
but we didn't actually leave the Thrillseekers carpark until 4pm because Mum, being the only driver, developed an almost crippling migraine. It was so, so quiet for almost 3 hours. I just read. I started The Stand, by Stephen King, and read maybe 50 pages. It's a yucky yet brilliant book (of course).

Hanmer Springs is a really nice little town. Lots of tall trees and very nice looking lodges and resorts and shops. The hot springs there is a very popular place with tourists, so the town is usually pretty busy.

Haha, yesterday, as Tori and I were walking back to the campsite after our swim, we saw Mrs Clarke, who was my Economics teacher last year, with her husband, daughter and son Fraser, who was in my class. It was weird.

At the moment I'm in the little TV/internet room. I had to pay $4 to use the internet for 30 minutes, which is ridiculous. I have to go, actually. Only 5 minutes left and I still have to check my e-mail. Miss you guys :)

Bye bye!
